Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Novo Industries, Inc. It applies to your use of North, including helper and Workflow work and published Apps.
Prohibited uses
Do not use the Service to create, store, share, or facilitate:
- illegal activity, fraud, or infringement of others' rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- child sexual abuse material or any exploitation of minors;
- non-consensual intimate imagery, including synthetic imagery;
- harassment, threats, or content that incites violence, terrorism, hatred, or self-harm;
- malware, unauthorized access, or attacks on systems or critical infrastructure;
- the development of weapons, dangerous materials, or illegal drugs;
- spam, deceptive impersonation, or deepfakes presented as real;
- unauthorized surveillance or tracking of people, facial recognition databases, or emotion recognition in workplaces or schools;
- deceptive political or election activity.
Lawful reporting, research, and authorized security work are allowed when they follow these rules.
High-risk decisions and advice
Do not use the Service to make or substantially inform decisions about people's employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, education, or legal status without meaningful human review and any disclosure the law requires. If you provide AI-generated legal, medical, financial, or tax advice to others, tell them it was generated by AI.
Service integrity
Do not bypass permissions, safety measures, usage limits, or billing; access other customers' data; interfere with the Service; test its security without permission; reverse engineer it except where the law allows; or scrape it. Do not use it for cryptocurrency mining, proxy services, or unrelated heavy workloads, or resell it without our permission.
Enforcement
We may remove content, warn you, or suspend or end access. Serious violations can lead to immediate termination. We report apparent child sexual exploitation to NCMEC and authorities as the law requires. Report abuse to abuse@novonorth.com. To appeal an enforcement decision, contact support@novonorth.com within 30 days.
